Oh the joys of a flashlight. I really just don’t know why a flashlight is so exciting. But I remember loving to play with one as a child, and Alivia is finding that same joy now.
We found this cute little flashlight at Target for $3. It comes with three projector pieces that will show a picture on the wall. We’ve used it for a walk outside in the dark (and during the day 🫣) and reading stories.
Our Shine-A-Light series is so perfect for this. We read a page then lifted it and shone the light on the other side of the page so we can see hidden pictures. Alivia loved it, especially when we found a butterfly 🦋 hiding behind a leaf in the Secrets of the Rain Forest book. She is obsessed with butterflies I swear, always flying around pretending to be one.
