Ever seen a toddler wearing PJs and rain boots in 80° F weather. Just know that it’s most likely not because the parent is slacking, and more likely that they’re allowing their child to express or dress themselves (or just don’t have time for the fight). What harm is it to fight this decision anyways? Of course if it was extremely hot or cold, I would ensure we had proper attire. But we were just heading out to pick up lunch in mild weather.
And on the other side, what benefits are there for them?

- Independence
Be careful though, independent and confident toddlers are a force to be reckoned with…
