Alivia was with her dad this weekend. And even though I miss her terribly while she is away, I make the most of time “free” time. Usually doing too much. This weekend I filled it with family. Playing lots of games.
Saturday I played Phase 10 with my niece their (preferred pronoun) boyfriend. My 6 year old nephew joined in for a few hands. Luckily her got distracted and moved on because he had some amazing beginners luck that may have had him beating us all.
Sunday I spent the morning at Church learning about Resilient Hope, I linked the service below if you would like to watch. I’m still blown away by the claim that 1 in 3 women have been domestically abused #metoo.
After church I went to play another game of Phase 10, but with my grandmother this time. We followed up with a game of checkers. Then it was time to get my sweet girl and head home.
